Assessment
The offering begins with observation.
Observation of what we call ‘learned patterns of behaviour’. We’ll spend time observing our own patterns, patterns of our loved ones and patterns of those we don’t know but during the course of any given day we come into contact with.
It will all be done without judgement, opinion or critique; simply observing.
Acceptance
At the midpoint of the offering, there will be an invitation to ‘name’ a ‘learned pattern of behaviour’ you would like to work on within a circle of witnesses.
Awakening
The third step will follow Richard Rohr’s often quoted flow of Order, Disorder, Reorder and will focus on the ‘RE’ part.
The ‘RE’ prefix comes from the Latin preposition meaning. "back, again, anew." It's one of the most productive prefixes in English, meaning, we create new words with it constantly like, "re-friend" (social media) or "re-purpose."
It's in this generative spirit of RE that various ideas and approaches will be offered to begin again.
